solo test oyna CFR SOLO | 3-5-17 | Deland | 2017 Golf R [#92 STX]

This is my third ever autocross event. It would also be listed as my worst ever showing for an autocross event. I came to this event solo this time. No one I knew went. Made friends with workers and people in my run group as well as a fellow Golf R owner. Some things that went wrong for me this time were I didn't thoroughly walk to course. I try and join the novice walk because it helped the first time with the smaller group but here was a large group. I think I need to start walking the course by myself. Another thing was, I tried to run without stability control on. I think that this is what made me slide out more often than usual. I also still had adrenaline from the FIRM autocross event where we were hitting 70mph+ so I tried to transfer that over here and it wasn't happening. I need to just let my ego go for a second and take the first run slowly to figure out the course. There is also a lot more I have written down on a mental note somewhere. I might add that in here eventually.

Run Rundowns:
1.) Should've taken it slow to figure out the course first. Got lost and then spun out. Got upset and just drove through course. I should've used the time to practice the rest of it. My ego was down.

2.) Took it slow this time. Ran a 61 or something. Good enough to finish and not hit any cones. This run is what gave me my 10/11 place finish in my class.

3.) Tried to pick up the pace and lost it. Can't remember if it was this or the next run where I scared some workers. Also brought a cone home to the grid.

4.) Spun out again I'm tired of analyzing these ones lol.
